1. Install GNOME classic
Install the classic GNOME desktop environment by installing the gnome-panel package. Open the terminal by pressing Ctrl+Alt+T or Navigate through Applications -> Accessories -> Terminal
sudo apt-get install gnome-panel
Don’t forget to exit the Terminal after your use by typing
